Tattooing the names of family and loved ones, important dates, religious verses and personal mottos is a practice dating back at least as far as The Crusades, when European knights and footsoldiers returned from the Holy Land with deep tans, battle scars and words inked in their skin.

You can pop in to the Ink Spot and check out the fonts we have here in the shop, or if there's a great font you've found yourself, feel free to bring us a printout, memory stick, etc.

And if you're getting something written in a foreign language, please make sure you're satisfied you know what it says. We're a bright bunch here, but none of us claims to read or write Chinese, Sanskrit, Tibetan, etc...
